About BXP, Inc.

BXP is a real estate investment trust that owns, develops and manages large office properties, concentrated in major United States markets such as Boston, New York, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. It leases space to corporate, legal, technology and other tenants under multi-year contracts. Rent is its principal source of revenue, so occupancy, lease renewals and demand for office space strongly affect its results.

A dividend is paid, with a yield of 4.6%. Looking at the numbers, trailing revenue is $3.5 billion, and it expanded at 3.9% a year across three years. Taken together, these figures give an X-Ray Score of 46 out of 100. Some other measures are not covered here, so this summary is limited to the data above.

Debt = borrowings plus lease liabilities. Cash & securities = cash, equivalents and short-term marketable securities (long-term securities are not counted, so net cash can be understated for companies that hold large long-term investments). Net debt = debt minus cash & securities. Source: latest SEC 10-Q/10-K. EBIT / EV yield = operating profit divided by market cap plus net debt.

Green means better than the peer median, red worse (only where a higher or lower figure is clearly better). A dash means too few companies report the figure. P/E, EV/EBITDA and price changes are not graded: a different level is not good or bad by itself.
