About Arch Capital Group Ltd.

Arch Capital Group is a Bermuda-based insurance, reinsurance and mortgage insurance company. It writes property and casualty coverage, specialty lines and reinsurance for other insurers, and provides mortgage insurance in the United States and elsewhere. It earns money from premiums and from investing the funds it holds before claims are paid, so results depend on underwriting discipline and catastrophe losses.

Arch Capital Group Ltd. generated $19.2 billion in revenue during the last twelve months. The three-year revenue growth rate is 27.5% a year. No dividend is paid to shareholders. The X-Ray Score is 61 out of 100. Operating margin shows how much of each dollar of revenue remains after operating costs.

Green means better than the peer median, red worse (only where a higher or lower figure is clearly better). A dash means too few companies report the figure. P/E, EV/EBITDA and price changes are not graded: a different level is not good or bad by itself.

These ratings compare companies with each other and describe the past; they are not a forecast, a recommendation or part of the X-Ray Score. A factor is left out when its data is missing or meaningless (for example a P/E on negative earnings), and banks and insurers are rated only on the factors that apply to them. A dash in the history columns means fewer than three usable years.
