About Rollins Inc

Rollins provides pest and wildlife control services to homes and businesses, operating under brands such as Orkin. Technicians visit customers to treat and prevent problems with insects, rodents and termites. The company earns money from recurring service plans, one-time treatments and termite protection contracts, together with some franchise income. Because many customers renew regularly, revenue is fairly steady, although weather and seasonal pest activity affect demand.

Looking at the top line, revenue was $3.9 billion for the latest twelve months and it grew by 11.7% a year over three years. Operating margin was 18.7%, and return on invested capital is 28%. Its net debt to EBITDA ratio is 0.7 times. Shareholders receive a dividend with a yield of 2.1%. The overall X-Ray Score is 61 out of 100.

Net debt = debt minus cash & securities. Source: latest SEC 10-Q/10-K. EBIT / EV yield = operating profit divided by market cap plus net debt.
