Natural gas holds near $3.05 as reports cite higher LNG export flows

Reports say gas prices climbed while LNG export flows reached a one-month high, though our delayed quote was unchanged.

Reports say natural gas prices climbed, while LNG (liquefied natural gas, gas cooled for shipment) export flows reached a one-month high.

In delayed data (not live), the Henry Hub front-month price (the price for the nearest delivery month) was $3.05 per MMBtu (a standard unit of gas energy). It was unchanged versus the previous close, the price when trading ended the day before.

The reports do not say how long the higher export flows last.

One report says global LNG prices could rise this winter if European gas stocks stay low. The reports do not say what happens next.
