Akastor is a Norwegian industrial investment company that owns and develops businesses serving the oil and gas industry and related sectors. Its portfolio companies supply equipment, services and technologies used in offshore and subsea oilfield operations, including drilling and well intervention equipment and engineering services. Customers are mainly energy companies and oilfield service providers operating in offshore markets, and the company is based in Norway, where it manages its holdings and supports the development of the businesses it owns.
