Pilbara Minerals is an Australian mining company based in Perth that extracts and processes lithium-bearing minerals at its Pilgangoora operation in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The company produces spodumene concentrate, a hard-rock lithium feedstock, along with tantalite as a by-product. Its customers are mainly processors and manufacturers in the lithium battery supply chain, particularly in Asia, who use the concentrate to make lithium chemicals for batteries and industrial applications.
