Realtek Semiconductor Corp is a Taiwanese fabless chip designer that develops integrated circuits for networking, communications and consumer electronics. Its products include Ethernet controllers, wireless networking chips, audio codecs, card readers and display driver circuits. The company supplies personal computer makers, networking equipment vendors and consumer device manufacturers, and it is based in the Hsinchu Science Park in Taiwan, where it carries out design work while relying on outside foundries for manufacturing.
