NOVATEK is a Russian independent energy company based in the Yamal-Nenets region of Siberia. It explores for, produces and processes natural gas and liquid hydrocarbons, and it sells natural gas, gas condensate and liquefied natural gas to customers in Russia and abroad. Its operations centre on the vast gas fields of the Russian Arctic, and it ships liquefied natural gas to international markets from terminals in the far north.
