Visa Inc operates a payments network that moves money between cardholders, merchants and financial institutions. The company provides credit and debit card products through banks and other issuers, and it processes transactions for merchants and acquirers around the world. Its services include authorization, clearing and settlement of payments, along with fraud and risk tools. Visa is based in San Francisco, California, and serves consumers, businesses and financial institutions across many countries.
