U.S. Bancorp is a financial services holding company based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that operates through its subsidiary U.S. Bank. It provides consumer and business banking, including deposit accounts, loans, credit cards and mortgage lending, along with commercial banking, payment processing and wealth management services. Its customers range from individual households to small businesses, corporations and institutions across the United States, and it also runs a large payment services business serving merchants and other financial firms.
