About Fresnillo plc
Fresnillo is a mining company based in Mexico that extracts silver and gold. It runs underground and open-pit mines in the country, chiefly in the state of Zacatecas, and processes the ore at its own plants to produce silver and gold in doré and concentrate forms. Its customers are refiners and metals traders around the world who take these precious metals for industrial, investment and jewellery uses.
