China Oilfield Services provides services to the offshore oil and gas industry. Its work covers drilling, well services, marine support and geophysical and surveying services, supported by a fleet of drilling rigs and specialist vessels. The company serves oil and gas producers operating offshore fields, mainly in Chinese waters and in selected overseas markets. It is based in China and is part of the CNOOC group.
