Victrex plc is a British materials company that makes high-performance polymers, most notably polyetheretherketone, which it markets under its own brand name. These engineering plastics are supplied as granules and finished shapes to customers in medical technology, aerospace, automotive, electronics and general industrial markets, where parts must withstand heat, wear and chemicals. The company is based in Lancashire, England, and also produces related products such as films and composite materials for specialised uses.
