About Thungela Resources Limited
Thungela Resources is a coal mining company based in South Africa. It produces thermal coal, which is used to generate electricity, and exports much of its output to customers in Asia, Europe and other overseas markets through port facilities on the country's eastern coast. Its mining operations are located in the Mpumalanga region, and the company also handles the processing and transport of the coal it extracts before shipment to power utilities and industrial buyers abroad.
