Helios Underwriting is a specialist insurance group based in London that gives investors exposure to the Lloyd's of London insurance market. It acquires and manages limited liability members' agencies and participations in Lloyd's syndicates, assembling a portfolio of underwriting capacity across different syndicates. The company also arranges reinsurance to protect that capacity. Its customers are essentially its own shareholders and the syndicates it participates in, and its activities centre on the Lloyd's marketplace in the United Kingdom.
