Clarkson is a shipping services company based in London. It acts as a shipbroker, bringing together shipowners and the companies that need to move cargo by sea, and it also provides port agency services, helping vessels during their calls at ports. Its customers include shipowners, charterers and operators of tankers, bulk carriers and other vessels, and it serves clients in shipping markets around the world. The firm also offers market research and advisory work on freight and shipping matters.
