About the company
Avation PLC is an aircraft leasing company based in Singapore. It owns a fleet of commercial passenger aircraft and leases them to airlines in various parts of the world, earning rental income over the life of each lease. Much of its fleet has been assembled through sale-and-leaseback transactions, in which it acquires aircraft from airlines and leases them straight back. Its customers are passenger carriers seeking to add capacity without owning the planes outright.
