Archer Daniels Midland is an agricultural processing and food ingredients company based in Chicago, Illinois. It buys and processes crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat and cocoa, turning them into food ingredients, vegetable oils, sweeteners, animal feed and biofuels. Its customers include food and beverage makers, livestock producers, and industrial and energy users. The company also operates grain elevators and transportation assets that move crops from farms to its processing plants and onward to buyers around the world.
