About CVR Energy Inc.
CVR Energy is a holding company based in Sugar Land, Texas, whose subsidiaries refine crude oil into transportation fuels such as gasoline and diesel at refineries in the central United States. Through another subsidiary it produces nitrogen fertilizers, including ammonia and urea ammonium nitrate, for agricultural customers. The company also runs logistics and marketing operations that move and supply fuels to wholesale and retail customers across its regional markets.
