It runs discount department stores and warehouse clubs that offer groceries, general merchandise, household goods, clothing and health and beauty products. Its customers are everyday shoppers, and it serves them through its stores and its online channels. The company also operates warehouse clubs under the Sam's Club name, which sell food, electronics and household items to members.
