Salzgitter AG is a German steel and technology group based in Salzgitter. It makes flat steel, plate, tubes and rolled steel products, supplying customers in the automotive, construction, machinery and energy industries. The group also runs steel trading and distribution businesses and a technology division that builds machinery and equipment. Its operations span steel production, processing and trading, serving industrial customers in Germany and other European markets as well as international buyers.
