About Kweichow Moutai Co Ltd
Kweichow Moutai makes and sells baijiu, a strong Chinese distilled spirit, under the Moutai brand. Its main product is a sauce-aroma liquor distilled from sorghum and wheat and aged in clay jars, with the flagship Feitian Moutai bottled for banquets, celebrations and gifting. The company is based in Renhuai in Guizhou province, where it draws on local water and grain, and it sells mainly to customers across China through distributors and its own retail outlets.
