About SmartCentres Real Estate Investment Trust

SmartCentres Real Estate Investment Trust is a Canadian real estate investment trust based in Vaughan, Ontario. It owns and manages a portfolio of retail shopping centres across Canada, many of them open-air centres anchored by large grocery and discount retailers. The trust leases space to national and regional retail tenants and also pursues mixed-use development, adding residential, office and other uses to selected properties. Its customers are mainly retail chains and other commercial tenants seeking space in its centres.

The shares are listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange in Canada under the code SRU-UN, and the price on this page is in Canadian dollars (CAD).
