Paramount Resources Ltd. is a Canadian energy company based in Calgary, Alberta, that explores for and produces crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. Its operations are concentrated in western Canada, where it develops conventional and unconventional resource plays and sells its output into North American energy markets. The company also holds interests in other resource ventures through its subsidiaries and investments, giving it a broad base of oil and gas assets.
