The company explores for and produces crude oil and natural gas, with operations concentrated in western Canada and the United States. Its activities include heavy oil production and light oil and gas development, and its customers are the refiners and energy markets that take its output. Baytex focuses on developing its resource base through drilling and production operations across its core areas.
