Ventas, Inc. is a real estate investment trust that owns and operates healthcare-related properties. Its portfolio includes senior housing communities, medical office buildings, research and innovation space, and other healthcare facilities. The company leases much of its property to operators and healthcare providers, and it also runs some senior living communities through operating partnerships. Ventas is based in Chicago, Illinois, in the United States, and its properties are located across that country and in Canada.
