Companhia de Saneamento Básico do Estado de São Paulo, known as Sabesp, is a water and wastewater utility based in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It supplies drinking water, collects and treats sewage, and provides related sanitation services to households, businesses and public bodies across the municipalities it serves. The company operates reservoirs, treatment plants, pumping stations and distribution networks, and it also works on programmes to expand sanitation coverage and improve water quality in its service areas.
