Novo Nordisk is a pharmaceutical company based in Denmark that develops and makes medicines for people with diabetes and other chronic conditions. Its products include insulin preparations and other diabetes treatments, along with therapies for growth disorders, haemophilia and hormone-related conditions. It supplies healthcare professionals, hospitals and patients in many countries, and it also produces injection devices used to deliver its medicines. The company carries out research and manufacturing in several parts of the world.
