About Ecopetrol S.A.
Ecopetrol is an integrated oil and gas company owned mainly by the Colombian state and based in Bogota. It explores for and produces crude oil and natural gas, operates refineries that turn crude into fuels and petrochemicals, and transports hydrocarbons through pipelines. Its products reach industrial customers, distributors and motorists through a network of service stations, and it also has operations in other parts of the Americas.
