It owns and leases shared wireless infrastructure, mainly cell towers, small cells and fiber, to mobile network operators and other wireless service providers. Its customers use this infrastructure to deliver voice and data services to their subscribers. The company operates as a real estate investment trust and generates most of its revenue from long-term leases of space on its sites to carriers.
