BP p.l.c. is an energy company based in London that explores for and produces crude oil and natural gas, refines crude into fuels and lubricants, and markets these products to motorists, businesses and industrial customers through its retail stations and commercial channels. It also makes petrochemical products used in everyday goods and runs businesses in low-carbon energy such as biofuels and wind power, serving customers around the world.
