Umicore is a materials technology and recycling company based in Belgium. It makes catalysts for cleaning vehicle exhaust, precious metal products and specialty materials, and it recovers and refines metals from industrial residues and end-of-life products such as used batteries. Its customers are manufacturers in the automotive, electronics, chemical and energy industries, who rely on its materials and recycling services to obtain metals and reduce their environmental impact.
