Its portfolio centres on enclosed retail malls in South African cities, and it also holds retail properties elsewhere in Africa and in south-eastern Europe. The company earns rental income from tenants that occupy space in its centres, which include national retailers, restaurants and entertainment operators. It is structured as a real estate investment trust and manages its properties directly.
