Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa is a coal mining company based in southern Poland. It operates mines in the Upper Silesian coal basin and produces coking coal, which is used in steel production, along with thermal coal used for generating electricity and heat. Its customers are mainly steelmakers, power utilities and industrial users of coal, and it also supplies coal products to buyers in other European countries.
