VERBIO Vereinigte BioEnergie AG is a German producer of biofuels made from agricultural raw materials such as rapeseed and grain. The company makes biodiesel, bioethanol and biomethane at its own plants and supplies these fuels to oil companies, fuel distributors and filling stations, mainly in Germany and elsewhere in Europe. It also trades in biofuels and produces glycerine as a by-product of its biodiesel operations. The business sits in the renewable transport fuel sector and serves customers who blend biofuels into conventional road fuels.
