MTR Corporation operates the metro rail network in Hong Kong, carrying passengers on urban lines, the Airport Express and cross-boundary services into mainland China. It also runs light rail and bus feeder services, and provides rail operations and consultancy in other cities. Alongside transport, the company develops and manages residential and commercial property around its stations, including shopping malls and offices, and earns rental income from these developments. It is based in Hong Kong.
