Marathon Petroleum is an American petroleum refining, marketing and transportation company based in Findlay, Ohio. It runs refineries that turn crude oil into fuels such as gasoline and diesel, and it distributes and markets those fuels through wholesale channels and retail service stations, mainly in the United States. Its customers include drivers, businesses and other fuel distributors, and it also operates pipelines and terminals that move crude oil and refined products.
