Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals, known as SIDPEC, runs a petrochemical complex at Sidi Kerir near Alexandria in Egypt. The company produces ethylene and polyethylene, including linear low-density and high-density grades, which it supplies to manufacturers of plastic films, pipes, packaging and other plastic goods, as well as to export customers. Its operations sit close to the Mediterranean coast, giving it access to feedstock pipelines and port facilities for shipping its products to industrial buyers at home and abroad.
