It generates power mainly from hydropower stations on rivers and reservoirs, and it also runs electricity transmission and distribution networks. The company supplies electricity to households, businesses and industrial customers, and it trades energy in European markets. Its operations centre on Austria, with additional generation and sales activities in neighbouring countries.
