Prosus is a technology investment company based in the Netherlands. It holds a major stake in the Chinese internet group Tencent and owns and backs internet businesses in areas such as food delivery, online classifieds, payments and financial technology, and education technology. Its holdings span markets in Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa, and it is controlled by the South African media and internet group Naspers.
